After an initial discussion with the owner of the business, many aspects of the set up information requirements may be delegated to the clinic manager. Discussions will include training needs of staff and strategy for moving too Capable Software implementation and "going live".
A standard system is based on one provider, two staff, customising security levels, ten stock or service items, two printers installed and the networking of Capable on two computers already networked.
Additional time will be required for the setting up of features such as including additional providers, extra staff, the use of resources (to prevent double booking of rooms or facilities), the installation of printers, networking of computers, problem solving unconventional networking procedures, or internet access problems. Additional time will also be required to set up stationery to reflect prepayment systems, or billing to third party payers and customising letters for mail merging.
